General Information
- Rotation and flame sterilization happen automatically. No need for cooling down of inoculating loops in agar.
- When needed - at the push of a button - all 5 inoculating loops can be
flame sterilized in one full rotational cycle. The time for flame
sterilization can continuously be set from 2 to 10 seconds. Suited for
right- and left-handed use.
- Can be used with all standard gas safety-burners (adapters are optionally available).
- Flame sterilization time can be minimized to save gas and to increase lifetime of inoculating loops
- No accidental usage of hot loops. Maintenance-free switches of the
flame sterilization carousel are covered inside the device, no
malfunction due to dirt or stray light.
- We recommend Schütt manufactured inoculating loops made of special
stainless steel wire or platinum-iridium wire (90/10). Length 60 mm,
diameter of wire 0,5 mm.
